Acrylamides are chemicals that are caused when heating many foods (including grains, nuts, seeds, beans, fruits, and vegetables), above 248 degrees Fahrenheit.
Boiling requires only 212 degrees Fahrenheit, so boiling things *may not create Acrylamides.
However, most baked, fried (even air-fried), and grilled food is heated above 248 degrees.
Some level of Acrylamides may form when heating vegetables below 212 degrees, but the amount is said to be "insignificant."
The higher the temperature and the longer the food is cooked, the higher the level of Acrylamides will be.
Some research has found that cooking food with Rosemary reduces the production of Acrylamides.
--This does not mean that adding Rosemary to food that has already been cooked will reduce the Acrylamides that
have already formed.
*Some things processed at temperatures below 212 degrees, such as prunes, prune juice, other fruits, and coconut products
(including even "Coconut Nectar," which must be heated to make), that have been
exposed to lower heat, have been found to contain a high level
of Acrylamides, causing some people to avoid any cooked foods at all, and to avoid any dried foods, unless they are
FREEZE-DRIED.

Set at Power Level 1 to keep temperature below 248 degrees
Published research about this has caused many people to not want to eat food that has been baked, sauteed, fried
(including pan-fried, deep-fried, and air-fried), or grilled.
