Some Ideas To Consider About
Freeing Yourself From The Entanglement Of Judging Others And Allowing Yourself To Be Happy
So you just found out that your favorite gurus who speak of spiritual development and higher vibrations are not vegan and
have no concern about contributing to the atrocities of the meat, egg, and/or dairy industries by continuing to pay for
their products.
You feel a surge of Cognitive Dissonance -- How can they be so highly evolved and not care about this?
How can they say such helpful things and not care about the suffering of the animals they pay people to harm for them?
It can be painful for vegans to see when nonvegans do not include animals, other than maybe their own pets or
only certain kinds of animals,
in their in-group
that they care about or that they think should be treated as they would want to be treated themselves.
What can we do to ease this Cognitive Dissonance?
One possibility is this:
Helpful principles are helpful regardless of who is informing us of them.
--Focus on the Message rather than the Messenger.   The message isn't any less important because of something you
don't like about the messenger.   Appreciate the content of the message without looking to put the messenger on a
pedestal.
The pain we feel as vegans can be a quadruple-whammy, where we feel first the
pain of knowing how the animals are treated for these people to get the milk, eggs, meat, fish, and entertainment they want;
second, that that this
horrific treatment is Legal and that it is Illegal to try to interfere with it; third that the feeling
of Judgment of others for contributing to this is itself painful; and fourth having to smile and pretend like
we are not highly offended when we see others eating animal products all around us.
It can be hard to put
these feelings aside and find little bits of happiness in life even for two minutes, especially when this abhorrent
behavior is Legal and is considered to be what is "Normal" in our society and we, as vegans, are considered by the
majority of the people on this planet to be the
"Abnormal" ones, with still less than 5% of all the people in the US being vegan.
Freeing yourself from being entangled in Judgment does not mean you don't care about all of those involved in what you may
be inclined to Judge.   It just means you are choosing not to become entangled in the vibration of Judgment.
--Similar to how, you as a vegan, are choosing not to become entangled in the vibration of harming any other sentient beings
by contributing to it in any way.
Judgment causes Suffering, not just for the person being Judged, but for the person Judging as well.
We are all at different places at different times in our lives, each of us on our own path.
You can Release the Judgment you've been feeling and set yourself free from the unhappiness that comes with Judgment.
As long as one clings to one's Judgment, one will likely remain unhappy.
You can do your best not to contribute to the suffering of others and be grateful that you have become free from
remaining entangled in the vibration
caused by contributing to the suffering of other humans and other creatures.   You can let the Judgment Go in regard to those who remain so entangled.
You can focus more on your compassion for them remaining in this matrix unable to process what you
have tried to tell them, more than focusing on how outraged you may feel by them continuing to pay for the system that enslaves
not only the animals involved, but them as well, and is even having them pay to remain in this system.
Letting the Judgment Go doesn't mean you don't care or that you are contributing to that which was causing your
Judgment.   It just means you are
choosing not to become entangled in the vibration of Judgment.
You can have Compassion for those who are remaining entangled in the matrix of contributing to the suffering of others because they
may be so entrenched in this matrix that they cannot process what you may be trying to share with them, and they
are therefore continuing to suffer physically, mentally, and/or emotionally, as humans who are not growing and are contributing to the suffering
of others, while remaining stuck inside this matrix, usually do.
Another thing that may be shocking and painful to observe is how, far from thinking they need to eat animal products to
be healthy, many people are now acknowledging what the research is saying about how harmful it is, and their response to it is saying that they are willing to endure things like Heart Disease, Type 2 Diabetes (and the
possible loss of sight and legs that could come from this), Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke, and even Premature Death, rather
than just stop eating animal products.
It's one thing to see people do this in regard to smoking despite the warning label right on each box of cigarettes, but
it's quite another to seep people continue to be willing to contribute to the unnecssary suffering of animals, even
when they understand that eating animal products is actually harmful to them.
How can we even process this? How would we explain this to advanced aliens who may one day visit our planet?
How can we make it through each day of interacting with the 95% of the population who continue to contribute to animal
suffering by continuing to buy animal products, and insisting on doing so even at such high risk to their own health?
It may be easier for you if you remember when you first heard information about something you could
not process at first and allow this to give you more compassion for them.
Here is another possible way of viewing things in a way that may make it easier for you:
As you have compassion for the wild carnivore animals born into the lives they are, so too have compassion for humans who were born into a culture of eating animal products, and who therefore
feel uncomfortable not remaining in the animal-product-eating cultures they were born into, no matter what damage it causes them, and
who literally cannot see the light you may be shining for them to lead the way out, and focus
instead on being grateful that things happened the way they did to enable You to be fortunate enough to be able to enjoy being free of the painful vibration of this entanglement.
Refraining from passing Judgment doesn't
mean you don't care about all involved.   It just means you have come to realize that you can't pull people out of
where they are if they can't yet process what you are saying to help pull them out.
The most effective thing you can do is plant a seed of an idea with Love and move on, resting assured that one day that
seed may grow when it's ready, and focus on being grateful to the ones who planted these seeds for You, instead of
focusing on the fact that the seeds you are planting do not yet have the other conditions necessary to be able to grow right
this very minute.
Remain aware that just as a seed won't grow in dry soil until such time as the soil becomes moist enough to enable sprouting, many people will not be able to hear what you may have to say until
other conditions happen to make them become able to understand what you are saying possible.
It is a more effective use of your time and energy to plant seeds
with Love and move on, than it is to try to force growth right then and there, because such force more often than not, backfires and causes
Resistance, as people often Resist Change of any kind, and if Change is going to happen, people need to feel like the
Change was their idea that came from within them and was their decision.
This is the most
effective way to achieve influence.   --This is why the client-led approaches of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Coaching and the National Board Of Health And Wellness (NBHW) are so effective.
Research has found that it is more effective to help empower people to find their own answers through
the Coaching process rather than giving them answers
Sometimes it just takes TIME for people to accept new things, even if the new things are correct and backed up by voluminous
research.
It seems to be human nature to at first simply not believe credible research that contradicts what
we currently believe.   It may be helpful to remember things that We may have resisted when we first heard them.   --I resisted accepting the new lower numbers
for what is now considered to be the healthiest blood pressure (less than 110/80 for Women) and that refined sugar and refined oils are detrimental to optimal health.
I did not want to believe these things when I first heard them, so I didn't.
But later, as time went on, and I heard these things repeated over Time from different sources, I did end up believing what the research shows and changing my behavior accordingly.
Humans often want to be like others they admire.   You will likely have more influence being a Positive role model of health and happiness yourself and letting others later want to
emulate you, than you will by telling people what they
should do.
This phenomenon is so strong, it applies even if what you may tell them to do would literally
save their lives.
More Influence can be achieved by focusing on being more what others may want to be like than on telling others what they should do.
As Dr. Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet: Eating For Spiritual Health And Social Harmony, said in one of his lectures: "Dont' focus on how hard it is to be vegan.   Focus instead on how
great it is to be a vegan in a time when it is easier to be a vegan than it ever has been, and how much healthier You
get to be for being vegan, and focus on radiating Love and Compassion rather than frustration!"   Thank you, Dr. Tuttle,
for your wonderful inspiring Influence!
There are so many vegan products so easily available on Amazon.com now that we can so easily have delivered to our doors.
There has never been a better time to be vegan!
There does seem to be more Light than Dark in our world, as in my lifetime I have seen the accepted thought go from thinking
that it was harmful to not eat meat to the other extreme of acknowleging that it is harmful not only to eat meat, but to
eat any animal products at all, AND the number of vegans is statistically projected to keep Growing!
Our world is becoming more enlightened!   It may be helpful to keep this in mind when feeling disappointed that so many
of the people we may admire for their intellectual contributions in other ways are not vegan.

Just because people may be very intelligent in some ways does not mean they are able to see that they are in this matrix
that enslaves them.   The more intelligent they seem to be, the more frustrating it may be to observe that they can't
see, or do not care, that they are enslaved by the animal product System.
Here's another way that may be helpful to view this:   Many people cannot see/process that they are enslaved in a very
detrimental way by the animal product System, no matter how loudly or how repeately you try to tell them.   They
just are not ready.   It would be like trying to teach a child who has not learned numbers yet a very high level of math.   Trying to teach
him louder and more repeatedly will not work until his mind has been prepared to learn/accept this.
Trying to convince someone they are enslaved by the system they are in when they don't have
the ability to process what you are saying would be no more helpful than trying to teach advanced math to a child who has not learned numbers yet.
You may say "But how can they be such a great guru/artist/speaker/engineer/surgeon, etc. and not be able to see this?"
--Sometimes people who have been able to develop their talent and intelligence in many wonderful ways still cannot see this,
so that saying it louder and more repeatedly will accomplish nothing but possibly cause Alienation.   --Better to
gently plant some seeds of information that may grow later and move away from the topic.
Sowing the seeds of basic information about numbers now to enable greater learning about math
later may be the best you can do, and so it may also be with getting someone to realize they are in a matrix they may
want to become free from later.
Many people will not want to become free from it, though, even if/when they realize this because
it is what they have become used to, and Change of any kind is often very difficult.
If people have lived in caves all their lives, the sunlight will hurt their
eyes when they first venture out, and this may cause them to want to remain in their caves, which have become comfortable for
them.   And even if it is predictable that they may soon die in those caves due to something like a forecasted flood
in the area, they may still
resist you trying to pull them out, and possibly even harm you for trying to help them.
It is ironic that people stuck in this matrix may help you in ways that may cause you to want to return the favor and help
them, but despite what they could see that was helpful for you, they cannot see how escaping the matrix of
the animal product system that enslaves them would be helpful for them.   --Better to plant these seeds with
Love and move away from the topic.
Re: Absurd assertions that
eating plants is harmful - The Matrix Fights Back
"Just because we've been doing it for 10,000 years doesn't mean it's the right thing to do."
  Dr. Will Tuttle
It can become exasperating trying to figure out how people can't see that pigs and cows have the same level of feelings
as dogs do.   However, if you look closer, you can see that failure to see this sameness isn't really the issue, and
that the issue instead is really one of favoring only those who one has classified as being within one's own personal in-group, i.e.,
only those who have gained favor with them in some way are worthy of respecting and not harming or killing.   And they
may likely apply this same reasoning to other humans as well, as can be seen by reading much of human history, and even
current news.
They may cherish the particular dog that lives in their house with them, and even kill someone
for harming that favored dog, becasue that particular dog has managed to gain their personal favor, without having any
regard whatsoever for other dogs who have not gained their favor.   -- So the issue isn't really so much about
viewing people as "better" than animals, but one of viewing as one's chosen in-group, whatever it may be made up of, as being
the only ones they are motivated to respect and avoid harming.   It is this is the kind of respecting-only-one's-in-group thinking that leads to War.
Rather than focusing on the dark side of things, it can be helpful to focus instead on being grateful for living in a time
and place were You were somehow taught how to free Yourself from this System.
When we see a wild wolf, we do not judge it.   We accept that it kills other animals in violent ways because it knows no other way to survive.   Feel grateful that You do not have to go kill other
things to survive, and that You have been able to rise up out of that awful cycle of violence.
It will be more painless for you to view other humans with the same non-judgment as you do wild
wolves, and keep your focus on being grateful that You don't have to be entangled in that violent vibration.
In the same way that loving and respecting the wild animals that kill other animals to live does mean that
you would ever do the same things that they do, so to can loving and respecting other humans who have
not yet evoled out of this more "wild" state.
We love the dolphins, the seals, and the orcas.   We don't like that orcas kill and eat seals and
dolphins, however, this does not keep us from continuing to love, respect, and appreciate the orcas for
what they are.
The next time you find yourself feeling judgment of a human who continues
to eat animal products despite knowing about the research that shows that animal products are
actually detrimental to human health, imagine that person to be the wolf or orca you would fight for it's
right to be left alone by man, and remember that sometimes the creatures you fight for do things
you don't like and would not want to ever do yourself, and focus on feeling grateful that we live in a time where
we have been fortunate enough to have been taught how to free ourselves of this negative entanglement.
Focus on being a role model and a guide not only for those who want to change now, but for those who may
end up wanting to change in the future after absorbing all of this a while longer.
Another thing that I find helps ease the mind about this are some things Chrystal Rae says in one of her posted videos:
"Many of the circumstances of our lives are based on vibrational resonance.   In ther words, when we heighten our energy, we
will attract less and less of the darker energies into our life, so it is a process that we are all going through of
making more enlightened choices so that . . . even if the world is falling around us, our light will be so bright that
in our space, we will not experience that."
So it seems that this world is not experienced in the same way for all of us.   Some
people cannot even hear our words because they are in a place that's so dark that they process them, and because
their eyes have adjusted to the Darkness they are in, they do not even know they are in a Dark place.
  People
have to be at a certain resonance to be able to hear and process higher-level information.   These people are not there
Yet.   We are all works in progress.   There are many people who may be viewing us the same way, looking
forward to when we become more evolved.
Rather than harboring a Judgment of Good or Bad, it may be much less painful for us to view things as if when a child is in kindergarten, it
doesn't mean that they are less worthy than an adult who is in college.   It just simply means that's where they are today
and that they are on their evolutionary path.
Chrystal Rae goes on to quote a wise man who responded to her question of how God could allow such suffering in our world by saying
this: "Is there any darkness in you, like just a speck? . . . Have you ever killed even a mosquito . . . or killed or
eaten an animal? . . . Work on the war inside of You.   Work on the scarcity inside of You . . . If each of us were to
work on that, then this world would be a completely different world."
She, along with many others before her, have said that the reason we are here is to LOVE.
